This Peak project is a mission to summit the highest peak in every European country. From the massive Mont Blanc (4,810m) and technical Grossglockner (3,798m) to the rugged peaks of the Balkans, I’m tackling some of Europe’s most challenging mountains. Along the way, I also take on ultra-endurance events like self-supported ultra marathons and cycling across countries. It’s all about living our wildest adventures!

This Peak Project is called ‘Just the Tip’, and for good reason! It’s inspired by the phrase "it’s just the tip of the iceberg"—because this journey is about more than just summiting the highest point in each country. It’s about the experience.

Also, with my last name, Bergen (meaning "mountain" in some languages) and my Canadian roots, I thought an iceberg—a cold, floating mountain—was a fitting metaphor.

So, why this project? In 2021, I was battling depression and anxiety, feeling lost and stuck, unsure of my purpose. This journey became my way out.

WHY THIS PROJECT?

After spending two weeks solo traveling and filming in Sweden, I returned feeling reinvigorated and knew I had to make a change. A few months later, a friend asked me, “Your videos are great, but what’s your story?” That question hit me hard. I realized I needed to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone.

One day, while listening to a podcast about climbing K2, it clicked—I would climb the highest peak in every European country. Not for fame, but for growth, joy, and the start of my next big journey.

I love what I do! As an independent content creator I invest what I earn from your support, back into the peak project and YouTube channel. There’s a lot that goes into it, from camera equipment to mountain gear, permits, etc.

If you’re interested in supporting, check out my Patreon page. It’s not only helping me, but you also gain access to exclusive content and benefits.

Thank you simply for considering the support!
